Jaipur, barely 250 years old, is a fascinating and colourful showcase of the rich tradition of Rajasthan.
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival in Delhi you will be welcomed in a traditional style by company representative. Later drive to the hotel for a comfortable night stay.
Day 02 : Delhi sightseeing
After breakfast you will be taken for combined tour of Old and New Delhi. Old Delhi includes visit to Jama Masjid (one of the largest mosque of India), Red fort and Raj Ghat (The cremation ground of Mahatma Gandhi). Enjoy a rickshaw ride at Moon Square- Chandni Chowk , believed to be the market place of Mughal period. New Delhi holds attractions like Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, President’s Palace and India Gate etc.
Day 03 : Delhi - Agra (204kms / 4 hrs)
Today, drive to Agra, once the capital of Mughal India, it is famous for the world renowned Taj Mahal. Visit the “Monument of Love”- Taj Mahal which symbolize eternal love frozen in white marble built by Mughal emperor Shahjahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz . Also visit Agra Fort in the evening.
Day 04 : Agra - Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur (255 kms / 5 hrs.)
Head to the fascinating “Pink City” of Jaipur, en route visiting the Ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri which was once the capital of Mughal emperor Akbar. Mughals left the city due to acute shortage of water. The mosque at Fatehpur Sikri is said to be a copy of the mosque in Mecca and has designs, derived from the Persian & Hindu architecture. At Jaipur enjoy the Rajasthani folk dance with local cuisine in the evening.
Day 05 : Jaipur sightseeing
The day starts with an excursion to Amer Fort. Amer was the ancient capital of Jaipur. It is situated atop the Aravalli hills overlooking the city. Ascend the fort on elephant's back, like a king. Later visit Jaigarh fort where you can see the world's largest canon displayed. In the afternoon visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), Jantar Mantar Observatory and City Palace museum which covers a large area divided into a series of courtyards, gardens and buildings. A part of this palace is a now a museum, containing three wings of Armory, Textiles and Artifacts.
Day 06 : Jaipur - Delhi (257kms / 05hrs)
After a relaxed morning spend some time in the city markets. You may also enjoy a local rickshaw ride there. In the afternoon drive back to Delhi hotel.
Day 07 : Departure from Delhi
A timely and comfortable transfer to the airport will be provided by the Company's representative.
