foot of Moti Dungri Fort and is built by the famous and affluent business
family of Birlas. The construction of the temple took place during the year
1988. Today, it reflects the secular ethos of India with its three domes representing
varied approaches to religion.
Eklingji Temple In Udaipur :
Eklingji - The city dotted with temples is located about 12 miles to the North
of Udaipur in Rajasthan. 22 kms from Udaipur, Eklingji is a complex of 108
ancient temples, incised out of sandstone and marble. The temple, built in
AD 734, to propagate the blessings of Lord Shiva, worshipped as the Ultimate
Reality, the supreme power, and the wholesome one Parabhrama, is venerated
by the Mewar household.
Jain Temples In Jaisalmer :
Jain temples were built in the 12th to 15th century within the Jaisalmer Fort.

Chisti, who came to Ajmer from Persia in 1192, died in 1236 and was buried
here. His tomb, the Dargah is visited by thousands of devout Muslims every
year. The shrine was erected by Humayun. The Dargah also has mosques which
were built by rulers such as Shah Jahan, Jahangir and Akbar. Akbar used to
make a pilgrimage to Ajmer every year from Agra.
