The northern part of India is seeking trekkers with its variety of trekking adventure options. Trekking in India is an unforgettable experience as it not only let you to experience the unexplored trails made by nature, but also bring the visitor directly in touch with the country and its people and helps you to appreciate the mountain environment. In this vast wonderland, trekking itineraries from one to four weeks or more provide endless opportunities for discovery for the trekker. Among the high altitudes of Indian Himalayas, reality becomes a dream.
Most trekking trips in Ladakh begin after a few hours drive from cities to the beginning point of the trek, depending upon the region you are traveling. All provisions including camping gears such as twin sharing tents with foam mattress as well as kitchen, dining and toilet tents. Kitchen accessories will be transported by Mul up to the places. At places of high passes another group of local Mul takeover the accessories.
Portable dining tables and chairs will also be transported for your comfort. You will be camped close to water sources at convenient sites from where you can get good view of landscapes wherever possible.
We would like to encourage the consumption of local vegetables and food materials wherever possible. However, canned foods are also taken to add variety to the cuisine.
Our cooks and crews have years of experience in catering trekkers with hygienic and delicious cuisines during such trips. We serve hot beverages in dinner and breakfast, while lunch will be served with salads, breads, fruits and sandwiches. There might be some minor adjustments during the trip due to some unprecedented circumstances beyond our control and we expect your co-operation at such times
Grade
Normal level of physical fitness people could do easily trekking in Ladakh. Unlike in ascending peaks, trekkers do not have to go through any technical difficulties. Duration of walk was planned in such a way that the trekkers have enough time to explore the region and its people without any physical exertion. 5/6 hours of walk per day.
Our itineraries are categorized according to their level of difficulty and the duration in days. This would help our client to choose the one that suits the client.
Easy *: - An itinerary with this single star sign
means a trekking whose trails passes through lower altitude and have short distance
between starting and ending point in a day.
Normal **: - These trekking include both long and
short distance. Trail can pass through the altitude of 3600 to 4500m with 600
to 700m, both progressive and steep, uphill climbing.
Difficult ***: - These trekking cover both long and
moderates walks between 4000 to 5000m on a rough and some time snowy terrains.
It requires a little more effort than previous levels' circuits.
Very difficult ****: - This is a real adventure above
5000m and demand extra effort and trekking experience if not mountaineering.
Season exerts its influence on our offered itineraries. Different trekking can
best serve its objective during their respective seasons. Best season for trekking
in Ladakh is from June to September.
