Day 01 : Cochin
Arrive Cochin airport. Transfer to hotel and relax for rest of the day.
Day 02 : Cochin
Today we will move around in Cochin to see the old Cochin, jewish
synagogue, St:Francis church and the medieval Portuguese settlements. The
narrow stretches of unending stone pathways of this historic city of Cochin
and the cantilevered fishing nets is a treat for the eyes.
Day 03 : Kumarakom
Today we will proceed to Kumarakom back waters. Here we will stay in a
resort. To sit back and relax, enjoying the small waves in the backwaters is
the real activity here. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04 : Kumarakom
We will walk around to have a closer look at the village community of this
small place. Interact with the locals stay back here for the day.
Day 05 : Kuttanad
Today morning a house boat will pick you up from your resort. House boats
are modified rice boats of Kuttanad. These boats will be having well
maintained living room and bed room. The authentic Kerala food will be
served for you in this boat. The cruise along the backwaters will be an
unmatched experience. Overnight stay the hotel.
Day 06 : Kovalam
We will check out at Alleppey and proceed to Kovalam beach. Overnight stay at
the resort in Kovalam.
Day 07 : Trivandrum
Today we will make a visit to Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala. Here
we can see the old British buildings and the famous Chalai bazar. Let us
spend some time negotiating with the traders of Chalai bazaar. Back to
Kovalam in the evening and enjoy the sunset at the beach. Overnight stay.
Day 08 : Departure
Transfer to the airport for departure.
